Senior Moments Lunch Volunteers Needed!
Kristen is looking for a couple of volunteers who can help her with planning, setup and cleanup for monthly Senior Moments Lunches. They are held September through May on Wednesdays at noon in the Fellowship Hall.
If you feel called to help please contact Kristen at 530-401-7289. Without enough help, we may have to discontinue this ministry which brings so much joy and fellowship to our adult seniors.
Also if you know of anyone who may enjoy preparing food for this event, please contact Kristen as well. Approximately 40 – 60 adults typically attend the lunch.

Jr High Ministry Event 9/13 in Auburn 6-8pm
We are so excited for one more hurrah! We will be meeting outside of Tango Frozen Yogurt by the fire pit at 6PM, pick up at 8PM.
Multiple teams led by our amazing volunteers will scour through Downtown Auburn in search of heavily disguised volunteers and leaders in the church. The winning team will get their Frozen Yogurt paid for!
Parenting Event 9/18 & 9/19 in Auburn
The 7 Traits Parenting Conference comes to Confluence Church September 18–19, featuring Dr. Danny Huerta, Vice President of Parenting and Youth at Focus on the Family. Over two days, parents get practical, Christ-centered tools for raising kids toward lasting faith and maturity.
Whether you’re in the thick of it or just want to be more present with your kids, this conference is worth the weekend. Cost is $35 per person.
No childcare provided.

Women's 5 Week Bible Study Begins on 10/14
Ladies are invited to come on Wednesday evenings 5:30-7pm to a 5 week Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer called Breathe. Books are $15 each (scholarships available if needed). Bring your bagged dinner to enjoy while we fellowship and study.

Women's Change Group Begins in the Fall
Women’s Change Group will help you discover why you do the things you do and will provide the insight, tools and support needed to help you overcome unhealthy thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.
We’ll spend 6- to 8-months working through the Genesis Process Study in an intimate and confidential setting.

Stephen Ministry Training Begins in October
We all have problems that linger-on, whether it’s bad health, work layoff, challenging attitudes, or hurting relationships, Stephen Ministry Care Givers are trained to listen to and relate to these problems in a non-judgmental way. We offer one on one care to anyone open to asking Jesus for healing. We are a group of trained caregivers that support one another in providing care for others.
Here are some situations we may help:
Things that you may not share with others because you are stuck, and would welcome confidential care.
Helping you to bear burdens that are difficult to share.
Giving encouragement and confidential help in overcoming your problems.
Realizing that problems are large and need assistance or referrals for professional help.
We are also looking for people interested in a 2-year commitment to become trained Stephen Ministers. Training will begin in October.

SGF en Español Available Now
We are excited to announce that live translations of the worship service will be available in multiple languages including Spanish. The program will also transcribe in English, which will give our deaf and hard of hearing community a way to participate.
This is a great opportunity to tell others about how they can be connected in their native language while attending here at Sierra Grace.
There is a poster in the lobby with a QR code and instructions to access the translation.
